Our Story
AURA began with a simple conviction: fewer, better garments make for a better wardrobe and a quieter mind.
The House
Founded in a small atelier, AURA designs essential garments for people who value restraint over noise. Each collection is built around a handful of silhouettes, refined season after season rather than replaced.
We work with a short list of mills and workshops we know by name, and we visit them often. It is slower, and it is the only way we know to make clothes that last.
What We Stand For
Three principles guide every decision, from the first sketch to the final stitch:
- Pure form, with nothing added that the garment does not need.
- Uncompromising materials, chosen for how they wear over years.
- Honest craft, made by people who are fairly paid for their skill.
Materials
Our wools come from Biella, our cashmere from the Scottish Borders and our leather from tanneries that work with vegetable tanning. Every fabric is tested for weight, drape and durability before it reaches a pattern.
Craftsmanship
Coats are cut by hand and finished with details you will only notice once you wear them: taped seams, hand-set sleeves and linings that move with the body.
Client Care
Every piece is covered by complimentary shipping, free returns within 30 days and a lifetime guarantee on leather goods. For fittings, repairs or advice, contact our client services team.
